Science meets Art

This year, we offer the “Science meets Art” contest to all registered meeting attendees.

In science, visualization methods are a significant tool for analyzing and presenting scientific results. Images have the ability to convey information in ways that tables of data and formulae cannot. Scientific images occasionally go beyond their role as a medium for conveying information and contain aesthetic qualities that make them objects of beauty and art.

Therefore, please send in aesthetic scientific images with a meaningful caption from your work by 3/23 at 12:00 pm to nina.merkert@tu-clausthal.de. On Thursday, 3/24 at 11:30 am we will vote live on the best submissions. The winner will receive a book prize and a certificate.
